Bedhead is a strapping dahlia. Give it lots of room, a sturdy stake, and plentiful nutrition and water. The flowers really are just like the photo, truly distinctive. It began late for me, but produced until frost. The tubers are huge; dig carefully when saving them. I cut a bouquet of them and brought them to work. No one had seen anything like them. Give this one a try!

I planted one little tiny bulb and it just took over. The main stem is the size of my forearm and I have over 40 different stalks. Long lasting cut flower, incredibly prolific. Swan Island has the most expensive dahlia bulbs you can buy. Swan Island has the best dahlia bulbs you can buy. You will never regret your purchase.

This one grew first and bloomed first in my Almost desert location (Boise, ID) It didn't need staking. Rebloom took awhile. Gret plant and very like the photo.

If such a thing is possible, this character actually makes me laugh. I've met a lot of dahlias I don't like, but this one is hearty, happy and handsome to boot. This sounds silly, but he's a flower you won't feel funny about giving to even your most macho friend. (Makes a good cut flower by the way.)

My only complaint is that it did not bloom sooner! It didn't start until mid September, then it was fantastic! I will give it a prime sunshiny spot next year and plant multiples of it. Fantastic big healthy plant too! Flowers are firm and crazy beautiful.
